Events at Camp Lake Stephens

Though we are traditionally recognized as a mainly a summer camp, we offer several events throughout the year to keep our connectional ministry thriving. We have something for just about any age, and even hope to keep expanding our events to include more people into the ministerial outlook of Camp Lake Stephens.

Currently, we offer the following events for Older Adults:

Fall Fling

Spring Fling

Fall and Spring Flings are a time when older adults can come together in fellowship while participating in great workshops and feature speakers or events.

We offer the following events for Youth and Youth Ministers:

Fall Spiritual Life Retreat (Jr. High)

Fall Spiritual Life Retreat (Sr. High) 

Retreats where youth can come to CLS and renew their spiritual life in the midst of their busy fall schedules

Dare to Lead

DTL is a retreat for youth  directors and youth group leadership teams in order to help groups form more stability and connectivity.

Overflow

Overflow is a retreat from December 30-January 1, where youth can come together from across the state in order to celebrate the new year in a meaningful, fun way.

Confirmation Retreat

Our confirmation retreats offer groups of confirmands from United Methodist Churches an opportunity to celebrate their Wesleyan heritage through workshops, worship, and fun.

Student Minister Training

Student Minister Training is for both youth and children's ministers, and offers them an opportunity to better their programs in a way that will make their ministry more sustainable and effective.

Christmas at Camp
