OLDER ADULT EVENTS
FALL AND SPRING FLINGS:
These events are offered to older adults as an opportunity to see acquaintances and friends while meeting new ones, all here at Camp Lake Stephens. The day will be full of fun, entertainment, education, and uplifting spiritual moments.After registration in the morning, participants will engage in two different workshops of their own choosing. Some examples of workshops that have taken place at Fall/Spring Fling are: crafts, book reviews, Bible studies, meditation workshops, cooking workshops and demonstrations, and pottery demonstrations. After lunch, participants will be entertained by the feature performer or artist. During the 2007 Fall Fling, singer/songwriter Ed Kilbourne was the entertainment while the Ole Miss Women's Ensemble will entertain at the 2008 Spring Fling.

April 2, 2008: We are currently scheduling workshop leaders and will be putting together brochures to mail out by the end of January or early February. If you have not been sent a brochure or information about Spring Fling 2008 by that time, please email or call us.
