PARENTS Registration and Pick-up Times: Registration will begin at 2 PM on Monday for all regular, one week camps. Mini Camps 2 and 4 will register at 10 AM on Thursday of their camp week. Pick-up will be on Saturday, promptly at 10 AM. Please remain in the parking lot and wait for your camper to arrive with his/her counselor before going to get their belongings. ONLY the parent or guardian listed on the release form will be allowed to pick-up the camper. If there is a change in this person, call the camp office. NO EXCEPTIONS. Things to Bring: All campers need to bring closed-toe shoes to wear around camp, a sleeping bag or linens for a single bed, along with a pillow, towels, swimsuit, (females, please bring one-piece suits), toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.), raincoat or poncho, appropriate camp clothes, flip-flops for the pool, flashlight, insect repellantm spending money for the store, camera (optional), guitar (optional) and Bible (please write name inside). Things not to Bring: Please do not bring ANY food, candy, gum, drinks, fireworks, pocketknives, electronic equipment (ipods, radios, TVs, DVD players, gameboys, etc.). Cell phones are strictly prohibited and could be a means of dismissal from camp, no exceptions allowed. Anything of value (jewelry for example), or medications (except those which are prescribed and left with the nurse) should also be left at home, and may not be brought to camp. Store Time Campers will have the opportunity to go to the camp store once a day. The store offers a wide variety of soft drinks (.75), chips (.75), candy (.75) and ice cream (.75) Campers are only allowed to purchase two food/drink items each day. The camp store also sells Camp Lake Stephens souvenirs, such as t-shirts ($15), hats ($12), water bottles ($8), and frisbees ($10). Please do not send bills larger than $20. Mail Policy Campers are welcome and encouraged to receive mail at camp. Letters may be left at camp during registration - no care packages. To mail packages or letters please put camper's first and last name on the envelope and mail to: 117 Camp Lake Stephens Drive/ Oxford, MS 38655 If there is a particular day you wish your camper to get their mail, be sure to indicate that on all mail left for the staff to give to the camper. Medications ALL medications must be left with our Camp Nurse on registration day. There are no exceptions to this, and campers may not keep any medication with their person, including ibuprofen. Internet Options Parents and other family members will have the option of viewing pictures taken at camp on a daily basis. These pictures will be posted on a secure website. You will also have the opportunity to email campers while they are at camp. Information on how to access these two options will be provided to you on registration day. Note: it is difficult to keep the pictures and information regarding respective summer camp weeks up-to-date and accurate; please be patient with us as we deal with less-than-ideal server and internet capacity. Talent Show Themes Each week, there is a different talent show theme. Check back here to this page to find out the talent show theme for your camper, so they can bring appropriate clothes for the night (which is the most fun at all of camp!).
