Located at beautiful Camp Lake Stephens in North Mississippi, Camp Rainbow offers a fun-filled camping experience for children and adults age 9 - 60. We provide a summer camping experience where it's easy to participate in varied activities, make friends, feel accepted, build skills, and enhance self-confidence.

Camp Rainbow serves developmentally and mentally challenged individuals in a caring, respectful environment. Camp Rainbow is open to all persons, regardless of religious preference, race, or social background. Counselor to camper ratio is 1:1 or 1:2, depending on level of need. A full time nurse is available 24 hours a day.

Activities at Camp Rainbow include swimming, canoeing, archery, low ropes course, arts and crafts, campfires, singing, games and more! Each camper is encouraged to participate within his or her comfort zone. Our primary goal at Camp Rainbow is to provide a safe, nurturing, encouraging environment where each camper is appreciated for his or her abilities.

Campers at Camp Rainbow must possess basic expressive and receptive language skills(verbal or non verbal). They must be able to dress and feed themselves with minimal assistance, and be able to take care of their toileting needs. Because of the terrain, we cannot recommend Camp Rainbow for those in wheelchairs.
