CLS STAFF ALUMNI

Camp is the place where I have grown the most. Working at camp taught me the importance of looking for God in any situation, any place, or anyone. From my experiences at camp, I learned to interact with people by looking at them as a person bearing the image of Christ. As I pursue my career in Physical Therapy, I have seen God use my experiences at CLS to shape how I interact with patients who may be going through low points in their lives. I can challenge them to see their capabilities and show them a similar love that has been shown to me through God and camp because we are all made in God’s image.

What does it mean to be on Summer Staff?

At Camp Lake Stephens, our summer staff are the heartbeat of our community. Each summer, nearly 50 individuals from across the South come together to model to campers what it's like to live in a Christian Community.

They are responsible for guiding campers and ensuring their physical, mental, and spiritual well-being throughout their time at camp.

Our Summer Staff is made up of 13 different position in 3 different groupings:

Counselors, Program Staff, Leadership Staff.
