At Camp Lake Stephens, our Summer Staff is the heartbeat of our community.
Nearly 50 individuals from across the South join us each summer. They model Christian community for campers through their words, actions, and relationships. They guide campers and ensure physical, mental, and spiritual well-being throughout their time at camp.
Our Summer Staff is made up of over 14 different positions.

WHY WORK AT A SUMMER CAMP?
Working at summer camp is more than just a seasonal job.
It's a chance to build practical skills, grow in confidence, meet new people, and take on real responsibility.
Camp staff spend their days leading activities, supporting campers, solving problems, and working closely with a team. Because of that, many of the skills learned at summer camp can help you long after the summer ends.
Whether you are preparing for college, building your resume, or thinking about your future career, camp can give you valuable experience that is difficult to find in a typical summer job.
