Main Camp offers a traditional camp experience theat has shaped our ministry for 80 years.
From the moment they arrive, campers are welcomed into a cabin with 1-2 counselors and up to 8 fellow campers, all experiencing the week (or half-week) together as a Christian community.
Each session is thoughfully designed to help campers challenge themselves in new ways, all with the support and encouragment of their cabin group and the CLS family.
Stephens Sessions are available within eachage group providing individualized support and adaptations so campers with special needs can fully participate.


FINISHING 1st-2nd GRADE
The perfect introduction to CLS! Designed with young campers in mind, these 3-day, 2-night sessions give first-time campers the opportunity to experience overnight camp in a fun and supportive environment.
Campers enjoy many of the same activities as our Elementary campers while following an abbreviated schedule designed to help them feel comfortable, build confidence, and discover the joys of camp.

FINISHING 2nd-5th GRADE
Elementary Camp is the classic first full CLS experience. Campers spend the week living in cabins, building friendships within their cabin group and age group and exploring camp through activities, worship, and time outdoors.
Throughout the week, campers try new activities, spend time with their Family Groups, and experience the things that make camp special, from Wednesday night cookout and cabin devotions to the Friday night bonfire.
Elementary campers can also be signed up for Outpost, an added outdoor experience that includes spending the night in tents on Wednesday night after cookout.

FINISHING 6th-8th GRADE
Junior High Camp gives campers the chance to experience more challenge, adventure, and independence while still being surrounded by the support of their cabin and Family Group.
Campers spend their week participating in activities, worship, and community-building experiences designed for their stage of life. From high ropes and outdoor adventures to cabin conversations and shared traditions, Junior High campers are encouraged to take on new challenges together.
Elementary campers can also be signed up for Outpost, an added outdoor experience that includes spending the night in tents on Wednesday night after cookout.

FINISHING 6th-8th GRADE
Junior High Two-Week gives campers the chance to spend an extended two weeks at CLS building deeper friendships and experiencing a unique camp tradition.
The first week follows the traditional Junior High Camp experience, with campers participating in activities, Family Groups, worship, and cabin life. During the weekend, campers form teams, create team identities, enjoy a day trip, and prepare for the second week. (and do laundry!)
The second week features the Two-Week Olympics (one of our favorite traditions!), where teams compete in a variety of unique events that challenge teamwork, creativity, sportsmanship, and camp spirit.

FINISHING 9th-12th GRADE
Senior High Camp is designed for teenagers looking for a deeper camp experience through community, adventure, and opportunities to take on leadership.
Campers continue the traditions of Main Camp while experiencing activities and conversations that encourage them to grow in their faith, strengthen relationships, and prepare for leadership opportunities outside of camp.

Senior High Stephens Session

FINISHING 10th-11th GRADE
Leader-in-Training (LIT) gives Senior High campers the opportunity to spend three weeks at CLS developing leadership skills, deepening their faith and friendships, and learning more about the ministry of camp.
The first week follows the traditional Senior High Camp experience. During the following two weeks, LITs serve alongside counselors and staff, shadowing them and helping lead experiences for other campers.
Through hands-on service, community, and mentorship, LITs gain experience in leadership, faith development, and building relationships within the camp community.

FINISHING 2nd-12th GRADE
For campers with special needs
Stephens Sessions provide a place where campes are welcomed, celebrated, and encouraged to fully participate in CLS activities.
Each camper is paired with a summer staff member who provides individualized support throughout their camp experience. Campers experience the same cabins and participate in the same activities, worship, and community experiences as the rest of camp, with adaptations made to help each camper engage in ways that work best for them.
Stephens Sessions focus on recognizing each camper's abilities and creating an environment where everyone can build friendships, try new things, and experience camp.
